Why join

On Friday October 17th, the iGEM team of TU Eindhoven will host the Mini Jamboree 2025. This annual event takes place after the Wiki Freeze and just before the Grand Jamboree in Paris. It offers iGEM teams from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Luxembourg a valuable opportunity to present their projects in front of a knowledgeable audience, receive feedback, and connect with other synthetic biology enthusiasts. The event will be held at Eindhoven University of Technology, in the Auditorium (Blauwe Zaal and Senaatszaal). The day will include team presentations, company talks, an interactive quiz or game, a poster session, and plenty of opportunities to network and learn from each other. We look forward to an inspiring and energetic day filled with science, feedback, and fun!

During my Bachelor's, I worked in the Protein Engineering group, which sparked my interest in iGEM. As I'm now approaching the end of my Master's, iGEM is the perfect opportunity to gain lab experience, develop my soft skills, and meet inspiring people. As PR Captain and Secretary, I'm especially excited to organize the Mini Jamboree.
