Challenge Day is our annual event, which we will not be continuing this year.

Why join

One of our big education activities that iGEM Eindhoven organizes each year is the Challenge Day. During this event, we invite students from regional high schools to experience what it's like to do biomedical research at TU/e. This year, the students will assist detective Luc N. in solving a murder mystery case. By solving biochemistry puzzles and doing lab experiments they'll figure out who the murderer is, what the murder weapon was, and where the murder took place. The results of their investigation will be documented on a poster that they'll present on a poster market at the end of the day. This way, the students get a real taste of studying and researching at TU/e.

Hi, I'm Polina! As a first-year Electrical Engineering student, I have very little knowledge about synthetic biology and yet, here I am. I joined iGEM because I wanted to broaden my perspective beyond my own field and be part of something with real impact. As PR Captain, my role is to bridge the team and the outside world, and I couldn't be more motivated to do it well. You can reach to me via linkedin/instagram for iGEM or anything else!
